Stormwater Compliance

Many industries fall under a permitting requirement for the discharge of stormwater from their facilities. Applicability of the regulations requiring such permits is dependent upon the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) classification of your facility.  States have developed generic industrial stormwater permits that can provide coverage without the need to prepare and submit a facility-specific permit application. The permit will however, require the development of a facility-specific stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP). JAS Environmental can determine if your facility falls under a permitting requirement, and can assist you in developing a SWPPP (also see our page on spill planning).
